    Furnishing a Brooklyn Apartment

Over the past few months, I have been busy working on some commercial projects here in Boulder.... which I LOVE! Most recently, a dermatology center and a web design office. I got a call from my nephew, Matt, in NYC a couple of weeks ago, looking for help with furnishing an apartment that he will be moving into soon. He's making the big river hop from Manhattan to Brooklyn. This was my chance to jump back into a residential project.... and I'm all about it! He is moving into

    office remodel | boulder co

I'm just wrapping up an office renovation project for a friend/client. She is one of those "dream clients". She is the super busy owner/manager of an insurance business with a great, hard working office team here in Boulder. With little time in her schedule, she put me to work and let me run with the project. boulder staging project

I recently helped a good friend stage her house in preparation for listing it on the market. From my recent personal experience of staging our own home, I new it was going to be a lot of work.... and it was, but it was so much fun! Rolling my sleeves up and working with Patsy and her husband, Bruce, was a fun challenge. In the end it was so rewarding to see their house shine and be "market ready". They have lived in their beautiful north Boulder home for over twenty years. Lo

    headboard hack

West Elm is one of my favorite go-to's for furniture, lighting & decor. My home has a collection of their stuff. Although I have used West Elm light fixtures in my current condo renovation project, I don't have the budget for their furniture. After painting a feature wall in the bedroom Benjamin Moore Hale Navy, I wanted something that would really "pop" for a headboard. I saw this headboard from West Elm and LOVED it. With shipping surcharges & taxes this piece comes in over

This is our first blog post! We are excited about getting this launched. Jolene and I have been busy with projects, and there is lots to post about. I'm wrapping up my current condo renovation project here in Boulder.... and it has been a project! The goal is to set it up as a furnished executive rental. You can find before photos here. After photos will be posted next month. Meanwhile, here is some inspiration and some finishes I'm using to pull it together: This kitchen ins
