Purple! It has been awhile since I've seen this used much mainstream, but get ready.... it's coming. Take a look at the color forecast for 2017 from some of the big hitters in the world of paint. Let's start with Benjamin Moore. They are offering up a deep, rich "eggplanty" color.
PPG's paint choice is a lighter violet tone.
Next up is Sherwin Williams. Their favorite for 2017 is a softer taupe.
Finally, we have Glidden. They are honing in on a blue that I think is gorgeous. If you look at it closely though.... maybe a little hint of purple?
The good news is that these colors will pair well with all of the charcoals & greys we have been using. I'm looking forward to seeing Pantone's color of the year for 2017. Meanwhile, happy painting!
